Rookie Will Levis Becomes Tennessee Titans’ Starting Quarterback

It’s only been a few months since Will Levis joined the Tennessee Titans, but he already evolved into one of the team’s star players. The 24-year-old rookie has been officially named as the Titans’ starting quarterback, replacing injured veteran Ryan Tannehill. The Titans kicked off the season with Tannehill serving as their starting quarterback, but they had to shift their strategy after he was sidelined with an ankle injury. Malik Willis served as the team's no. 2 quarterback, but the team’s Mike Vrabel decided to make a major change to the team’s roster after Levis made his NFL debut in late October. During a recent press conference, Vrabel announced that Levis would serve as their starting quarterback going forward. The Titans coach said he has a lot of respect for Tannehill and expressed hope he’ll be back soon, but added they must do what’s best for the team at this point in time. "There's clearly something there, and we want to be able to continue to work with him and progress and develop and win – that's how you get better. You only get better by going out there and playing, especially at that position,” said Vrabel. Levis joined the Titans after being selected in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and he previously played college football at Penn State and the University of Kentucky.
