Sadio Mane Joining Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr After Leaving Bayern Munich

We’ve seen several major players leave European clubs to join Saudi Pro League, and Sadio Mane is the next one in line. The Senegalese striker will join Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr after leaving Bayern Munich. Mane joined Bayern last year after spending six years in Liverpool, and his time with the German club was quite rocky. In addition to making headlines following a physical altercation with Leroy Sane after losing a Champions League game, Mane failed to live up to the high expectation set on him, scoring only 12 goals in 38 games for Bayern. Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel said he’s partially responsible that Mane didn’t live up to his full potential in Munich, adding it’s the best solution to untie the knot. “We had a long, big hug and we both agreed we don't like what's happening now, but we think it's for the best in this situation. Sometimes things don't work out as everybody wants. I have always had a very good relationship with him and this will stay,” said Tuchel. It’s unclear how much Mane will earn following his transfer, but his deal is most likely worth around £35 million. He’ll be in pretty good company at Al-Nassr, where he’ll play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, who signed a lucrative deal with the Saudi club back in December.
