Sadio Mane Leaving Liverpool After Signing €41 Million Deal with Bayern

After six phenomenal years with Liverpool, Sadio Mane has found a new home. The Senegalese footballer player is leaving the Reds after signing a deal with the Bundesliga club Bayern Munich, reportedly worth €41 million. Mane’s transfer started to take shape after Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat against Real Madrid. The Reds spent some time trying to strike a deal that does justice to the Senegalese striker and turned down two bids from the German club before finally saying yes. Mane’s new deal is worth a total of €41 million, including Liverpool’s fixed fee of €32 million. The deal also includes an additional €6 million based on appearances and €3 million based on individual and team achievements. The rumors of Mane’s transfer to Bayern Munich started swirling around long before the deal was finalized, and here’s what he had to say about his potential exit from Liverpool. "Like everyone else, I'm on social media and I see the comments. Isn't it between 60 to 70 percent of Senegalese that want me to leave Liverpool? I will do what they want. We will see soon! Don't be in a hurry because we'll see this together," said Mane. The Senegalese striker joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016, and went on to make a total of 269 appearances and score 120 goals for the Anfield club.
