Tom Brady Becomes First NFL Player to Reach 600 Career Touchdown Passes

Tom Brady has been on fire since the beginning of the NFL season, and he’s breaking one amazing record after another. His latest match for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers saw him become the first player in the NFL history to reach 600 career touchdown passes. Sunday night’s clash between Tampa Bay and the Chicago Bears was a huge humiliation for the Bears, as they ended up losing 38-3. Brady’s 9-yard score to Mike Evans in the first quarter was one of the most memorable moments of the game because it saw him reach the 600 TD mark. Evans made a tiny mistake by handing the milestone ball to a fan in the crowd, but the Buccaneers official asked the attendee to give it back so Brady could keep it. He said that the fan will get something nice in return, such as a helmet or a couple of signed jerseys. "I don't actually keep too many things. In that circumstance, I just felt like that might be a good one to keep," explained Brady after the game. The superstar quarterback already entered the game as the NFL record-holder for most touchdown passes, after passing Drew Brees with 571. A few weeks ago, he also broke Brees’ record for most passing yards in the NFL history.
