Tom Brady Sets NFL Passing Record as Bucs Defeat Patriots

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the New England Patriots during their latest NFL face-off on Sunday, and it was truly a night to remember for Tom Brady. The superstar quarterback scored a victory against his former team and set a new NFL career passing record. Brady went into the game with high expectations. Emotions were running high as he returned to New England, where he spent the majority of his professional career before joining the Buccaneers in 2020. It wasn’t an easy win for Tampa Bay, but they eventually secured a 19-17 lead, and Brady was happy they managed to score a victory against such a great opponent. "I feel good that we won. It was just some emotional moments thinking about coming up here and playing. I know why it's tough to come in here and win a game all these years. This team does a great job. They make you earn it. It's a tough football environment,” said Brady after the game. In addition to leading his team to another epic win, Brady also managed to become the NFL's all-time leader in passing yards on Sunday night. He broke the record previously held by Drew Brees, who congratulated him on social media, praising his "commitment and dedication to this game, [his] team, and to being the very best."
